As part of the rich coffee culture and community, we seek to enrich this ecosystem through the implication of sustainable practices, education, and innovation of coffee production.
In addition to providing land for cultivating our single-origin Brazil coffee beans, approximately 20% of our farm is dedicated to planting indigenous trees, including Inga trees, which are recognized for their ability to naturally improve soil fertility through nitrogen supplementation. They’re also known for their possession of extrafloral nectaries that attract natural pest predators like wasps, which help control coffee pests such as the coffee leaf miner and coffee berry borer. This symbiotic relationship assists in maintaining the region’s ecological balance and supports a diverse community of beneficial fungi that protect our coffee plants.
Challenges supply chain disruptions and the impacts of climate change have not stunted the resiliency of this region, its farmers, or Ebru Coffee Co. As sustainable Brazil coffee bean suppliers, we continue to refine our processes to keep production stable and the quality of our coffee beans high. From this Stout to our Black Honey coffee, every batch of our Brazilian coffee highlights the region’s essential flavors and demonstrates our commitment to sustainable farming and preserving the natural landscape.
